Veteran Community Initiatives, Inc., in collaboration with the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 364, Conemaugh Valley Veterans, and Disabled American Veterans Johnstown Chapter 2, is pleased to announce and welcome the community to the 9th Annual Vietnam Era Veterans Recognition Day Ceremony. Our groups will gather to recognize and honor Vietnam Veterans from Cambria and Somerset counties that were killed in action (KIA) and who remain missing in action (MIA).

Veterans of all era are encouraged to participate. This is a family-friendly event filled with resource sharing, networking, memorabilia displays, and music provided by the Three of Hearts Band and Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. No admission fees or tickets are required!

This year, the event will be held on Friday, March 27th, 2026.

Morning pastries, coffee, and a light lunch will be available for all attendees. Thank you to the Daughters of the American Revolution for sponsoring the pastries, and for the wonderful fundraising efforts they have contributed to VCI!

Doors will open at 9:00 am, a brief ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, and the event will conclude at 1:00 pm.
