
2025 Veterans Symposium, 20th Anniversary
Veteran Community Initiatives, Inc. (VCI) hosts an annual no-cost symposium, referred to as Veterans Symposium, to bring together Veterans, experts, policymakers, service providers, and advocates for exploratory learning about issues and initiatives affecting the Veteran community, including Veterans’ well-being, rights, and services.
The Veterans Symposium has coordinated by the Pennsylvania Disabled Veterans Rehabilitation (PDVR)/Occupational Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) group since 2005, which was first appointed and organized by John P. Murtha, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and former United States Representative. The committee has since been led by Tom Caulfield, VCI President & CEO. This year marks the Symposium’s 20th anniversary.
